My love affair with the color turquoise and beautiful juxtaposition continues unabated. I. Love. This.
I found this on the Massucco Warner Miller website via Pinterest.
This weekend is one of my absolute favorite art shows: Portland Open Studios. (Give it a Google ‘cuz Tumblr won’t let me link for some reason.) It’s a self guided tour of 96 artists and their studio spaces. You get to meet the artists, learn about their processes and see some pretty cool art and the spaces they create in!
I fell in love with this artists work last year. His name is William Park and his studio is on MLK and is very unassuming from the street but once you’re in, you’re blown away with the space, the scale of his art and his talent.
It’s the perfect thing to do this weekend. And when you need to take a little rest you can pop over to my friends wine bar in the North Pearl blocks. It’s called Remedy Wine Bar and it’s fabulous! (Again, give it a Google)
Get out and enjoy this vibrant city that we are so lucky to live in!
It was such a great project that involved a lot of talented people and as such, a really fun and happy space was created. I hope you enjoy the article. If you want to see more pictures you can see them on my Houzz site or on my web site. Have fun!
This is a picture I took several years ago on my “trip of a life time” to Italy with my dear friends (thanks Joe and Kathy!). This was my room and I had truly sweet dreams there. Sigh…..
Freakin’ cool product alert! I have a pretty boring and very typical metal front door to my studio. I found this Urbio product that is called String Bean. It has very strong magnets on the back and the vessel is made of recylable, light weight polypropylene. I can have flowers ON my door year round. LOVE THIS!!!!
